Dr. Emmanuel Kandkhorov

Dr. Emmanuel Kandkhorov is extremely passionate about dentistry. He found interest for his profession at a very young age, and he greatly enjoys this field of medicine, as he practices for the last 20 years. Dr. Emmanuel believes that the patient is the most important person in a dental office. He developed many skills and discovered many talents that put him aside from other dentists: commitment to excellence not only must emphasize the technical skills of dentistry, but also reflect a strong component of humanism, kindness and compassion.

Only after gaining an insight into patient’s concerns (his or her dental needs, fears or anxiety, financial affairs, etc.) together with a comprehensive dental examination, proper diagnosis, and appropriate prognosis, an individual treatment plan is prepared and presented to a patient.

Dr. Kandkhorov has been serving Sacramento community for the last 8 years with exceptional care and advanced dentistry. Doctors at Folsom Dental Group practice all forms of cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including sedation for complicated extractions, implant placement and restoration. Dr. Emmanuel has achieved perfection in many aspects of dentistry, including veneers, crowns, root canal treatment, fillings, and extractions.

Dr. Emmanuel is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento Dental Society. He is committed to continuing education for himself, as well as for his team, to assure the highest quality of work and successful outcome in every case. Dr. Jerry Castro

Dr. Jerry Castro graduated from Virgen Milagrosa University in 1984, where he received the Best Clinician Award for his great academic accomplishments. Dr. Castro is very passionatate about the dental work that he provides to his patients.  Dr. Castro had the opportunity to associate with dental technicians for ten years at the beginning of his career, which helped to improve his knowledge and experience in the area of removable prosthesis, making him a reliable source of information for his colleagues. Thanks to his 20 years of experience and continuous training, Dr. Castro is highly skilled in all phases of dentistry. He welcomes adults as well as children in need of any type of dental care. Since joining the Folsom Dental Group in 1998, he has been providing the best care to our patients because of his dedication and enthusiasm about dentistry.

Dr. Castro is member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Sacramento District Dental Society.

Dr. Jerry Castro lives in Elk Grove with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys gardening in his back yard, going to fishing trips, playing pool and watching NBA games.
